Author Bio

John Liptak, Ed.D., is the Associate Director of the Career Center at Radford University in Radford, Virginia, where he focuses on helping students choose a major, explore occupational information, apply to graduate schools, and search for jobs in the college-to-career transition. Dr. Liptak has extensive experience counseling the long-term unemployed, offenders and ex-offenders, and adults returning to the workforce. He has presented on the topic of employment barriers at many national and international conferences. He is the author of more than a dozen career assessments as well as the books Entrepreneurship Quizzes, College Major Quizzes, and Career Quizzes.
